WFGM’s Vocational Scholarship Program helps women access the education, training and credentials needed to prepare for careers with greater earning potential.

Through the program, scholarships help remove financial barriers that can prevent women from completing their education and training. Support can help cover expenses such as tuition, books, childcare, rent, utilities and transportation.

During the most recent program year, 248 women received support to pursue degrees and industry-recognized certifications in healthcare, skilled trades, technology, business, hospitality, funeral services and other professional fields.

In partnership with Southwest Tennessee Community College, Moore Tech, Memphis Welding School, LeMoyne-Owen College and Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT), the program connects women with pathways to education, training and new career opportunities.
