A Note from the WFGM Co-Chairs of the Board

Dear Members of the Community,

It is our honor to serve as Co-Chairs of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis. We are grateful to join a community of staff, Trustees, Grantee and Community Partners, donors and supporters who believe in what’s possible for women, children and families across Memphis.

As we begin this new chapter, we are proud to reflect on all that was accomplished through Vision 2025 and excited to begin Vision 2030, WFGM’s new five-year strategic plan and the next chapter in the Foundation’s commitment to Memphis. It is an opportunity to build on what we have learned, deepen our partnerships and be even more intentional about where and how we invest.

Our vision for the future is grounded in a simple belief: when we come together, we can accomplish more. We are ready to listen, learn, collaborate and serve as we work alongside our community to shape what’s possible for the city we all love.

We invite you to join us on this journey toward Vision 2030. Whether you give, volunteer, partner, advocate, serve or simply believe in a stronger future for Memphis, you have a place in this work.

Together, we can continue building a Memphis where women, children and families have the opportunity to thrive.

With gratitude,

Lauren Taylor and Monica Wharton
