EMPOWERING LEADERS
The Women’s Foundation demonstrates formidable leadership through our presence, impact and commitment to creating a greater Memphis. The Board of Directors and Trustees is comprised of philanthropic women leaders – representing diverse sectors of the community from business to community volunteerism – who are highly engaged through their time, influence, and financial support.
Dear Members of the Community,
As Co-Chairs of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) Board of Directors, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible community. Each year, we are inspired by the generosity and commitment of those who believe in WFGM’s mission.
This year is significant as we celebrate 30 years of philanthropy, leadership and collaboration with the WFGM. What started as a bold idea has grown into a movement—one that has touched thousands of women, children, and families across Memphis. Together with our Board, Trustees, staff, and grantee partners, we’ve seen firsthand what’s possible when people come together with a shared purpose. From early childhood education to financial literacy, scholarships to career pathways, your support has opened doors and created opportunities for families to thrive.
What moves us most are the stories—the women building new careers, the young people stepping into leadership, the families finding stability and hope. These moments remind us that WFGM is more than an organization; it is a community committed to creating change.
As we look ahead, we’re focused on finishing strong with Vision 2025 and laying the foundation for the next 30 years of impact. We know that real change happens when we continue to connect, invest, and empower—and we are grateful to walk this journey with you.
Thank you for believing in this mission, for showing up, and for helping us create a Memphis where women and families can truly thrive.
