The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis is proud to invest in the next generation of leaders.

On March 11, our Young Women’s Initiative (YWI) 2025–2026 cohort traveled to Nashville for Bold and Brave, a Day of Advocacy hosted by the Tennessee Women’s Fund Alliance. The event focused on building a more just, equitable, and inclusive Tennessee for all women and girls. 

This experience reflects exactly how WFGM lives its mission: by fostering leadership, expanding opportunity, and creating spaces where young women can raise their voices, build confidence, and lead with purpose. YWI is designed to center the voices of young women and girls of color, ages 12–24, as they work to advance opportunity, economic security, safety, and leadership. 

We are inspired by this incredible cohort and excited to continue investing in bold young leaders who are shaping the future of Memphis and beyond.
