Celebrating Women’s History Month with Vision, Collaboration, and Impact
This month, we join communities across the nation in celebrating the achievements, resilience, and leadership of women — especially here in Memphis.
In 1995, Mertie Buckman envisioned a Memphis where women and girls had greater opportunity to thrive, and that vision became the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis. Today, more than three decades later, her belief that when women invest together, communities grow stronger continues to guide our work.
Throughout March, we’re highlighting success stories, grantee partners, and the impact of collective investment to demonstrate the power of collaboration in advancing women and families. We hope you’ll follow along on social media and join us in April for the Annual Tribute Luncheon and Leadership Symposium as we celebrate this year’s theme: Vision. Collaboration. Impact. Stronger Investments for Stronger Communities.
